As a tutor, I would call my teaching style "creative." I incorporate the student's interests and make the lessons fun when possible. I have the desire, teaching methods, and skills to help students succeed.My teaching and tutoring experience spans many years and includes teaching Grammar, English as a Second Language (ESL), and English to college students and adult professionals. I taught ESL in France one-to-one for six years and have been teaching online since returning to New York two years ago. I speak fluent French, having studied the language at a private university in Lyon, France. I tutor all levels of French, AP French Language and Culture, ESL/ELL, TOEFL, Reading, Writing, Phonics, Literature, Grammar and Mechanics, Public Speaking, English, and preparation for the ACT.In my spare time, I enjoy art, history, gardening, cooking, culture, natural healing, books, and antiques.
